Friday: we awoke to the sound of buzzing Dorys and their rake-trawling fishermen – but a friendly wave resulted in us being handed a batch of their morning’s takings. To be tried this evening! On attempting to weigh anchor, we found that the cable was fouled – probably on a stone that we just felt Aquila touch at dead low water as we had breakfast. A bit of deft work by the foc’sle crew combined with an ‘unwind’ power manoeuvre soon cleared the problem – to the skipper’s relief, as he had no desire to leave his Manson Supreme and half the cable locker in the bay. Then a leisurely sail past umpteen mussel rafts (photS) to Robeira, our overnight stop. Tomorrow: towards Ria Muros.

Last photo is of Ilas Cies anchorage from a few days ago.
