Tom and the skipper have now returned to Aquila, still safely moored in Androssan Marina.  Ken Roberts and Lawrence Scott arrive this afternoon, having very kindly agreed a couple of days ago to advance their joining date by 24 hours to take advantage of the (then) forecast NW 3.  However, the weather gods are not going to let us off that lightly; the current SW 6 is now expected to continue until around midnight tonight.  As a sailing pm Saturday as previously planned (Plan B) would mean butting into it for 45 miles, I think it very likely we will delay sailing until dawn Sunday.  Probably in pouring rain at that time, but with the expectation of a NW 3 and the associated front passing through by 1000 .   By which time we should be passing throught the Nroth Channel, bound for.....we shall see!
