A wet and windy day

While the majority of the UK may be enjoying a fine day, it's the very opposite here in Dunvegan. Blowing F7, driving rain and viz a quarter of a mile. However we have a snug anchorage, a dry boat, good company, excellent food and a single malt, so it could be a lot worse.
This morning we went alongside the local fishermen's quay to take on water, as the last time we topped up was 7th. Crew were magnificent despite the gopping conditions. Then ashore for provisions, and a coffee in a hotel that was as bad as the one in Lochboisdale. A very wet dinghy trip back to the boat by lunchtime, and some maintenance on Herman the heater - his fuel pump had blown a gasket again, but sorted now we hope.
Forecasts for tomorrow not much better so likely to remain here until Thursday when Peter and Rosy leave and Ken and skipper sail for Benbecula.
