After 3.5 lovely months cruising Fiji and reaping the benefits of few boat jobs after the 1.5 years of hard work refitting Aquamante, today Friday 14-11-2014 we set sail for New Caledonia for a couple of days of R&R. An estimated 4-6 day sail. Then onwards to Australia, where we’ll spend the cyclone season.

It seems a good and stable weather window, riding the N of a high with winds from the aft quarters, although the winds may become quite light in the latter part of the passage.

Very much looking forward to scoring fresh baguette, croissants, pâté, crevettes, steak tartare, eating at one of the many roulottes, like in Papeete and any other restaurant for that matter, which Noumea apparently has no lack of.
