We cleared out and weighed anchor at 08.15 hrs. 5 - 10 knots of wind motored all day.

We arrived at dusk in Ensenada Mareo de Portillo.
We were expecting the Guardia Frontera to arrive and ask to see our papers, but they did not. Just as I was cooking supper a row boat came out to us, no lights, very dark and came around on the opposite side of the yacht away from the village, they were selling mangoes, onions, bananas and a melon, we put a torch on to see what they had which made them nervous as they were afraid of being caught by the Guardia approaching our yacht and selling things.
We are not allowed to invite locals on board, we are not allowed to drop anchor in certain areas or go ashore in certain areas. If you are a normal tourist driving around you can go anywhere, but the government are paranoid about people escaping on boats including ours, now once asks oneself if Communism is so wonderful why on earth would people want to escape, surely everybody is equal……. ha, ha. The fact that these villagers were not even officially allowed to sell us food or come near our boat is not freedom, they are in a large country prison. Money and T shirts exchanged for the goods they were selling.

We both slept well and weighed anchor at 08.30 hrs the following day.
