Having been told by Patrick, the water maker technician, that he would let the technician’s know in Tortola that we were going there and would get France to send the part there.  So we decided to leave, we went to fill up with fuel in the entrance to the lagoon on the French side as we were told there was 9 ‘ of water, but we hit sand so backed off and went to Fort Louise (supposed to be a sophisticated marina for mega yachts) to fill up, the fuel facilities were shambolic with a rough wall and pump that comes out of a container and one rather slow guy who eventually turned up to do it.  Jonathan then had to walk to another block to pay, having been told it was cheap, duty free, he found that he had to pay EU1.20 a litre twice the amount the marina originally told him, this did not make him happy.

Recovery from virus slowly happening, appetite improving every day.
27/2/19  We set sail for Road Bay in Anguilla.
We took a taxi the following day to a lovely beach with restaurant and sun loungers much to my surprise as Jonathan does not ‘do’ beaches and sun-loungers but he felt it would be good for my recuperation bless him!! Lazy afternoon reading and relaxing on the lounger.
