This is a big catch up on my blog having not finished it before leaving the USA.  

The Connecticut river is the largest river in New England.  We navigated up it’s meandering path to the very large and good maritime museum where we spent a day looking around it.  At dawn the following morning we sailed back down and hence some of the photos were taken at sunrise.  It is a beautiful river and certainly worth navigating up there to the museum.  When we were up there we anchored of Mystic Marina in the river, some places are shallow, we draw 7.5 feet and it was fine so long as you keep an eye on the depth.
