After Petit St. Vincent we sailed to the Tobago Cays. Again I have never seen it so calm, the winds had gone North to North east.  We snorkelled from the yacht to the island nearby and saw Sting Rays buried in the sand.  We had our lobster for dinner, cold with mayo as we like it!  The following morning we took the dingy over to the sand bar off another unoccupied small island and walked over the island.  We saw an Iguana (pictured below)  but could not find the tortoises which live there as well.  We then took the dingy to the outer reef, dropped anchor in sand and snorkelled from the dingy.  The coral was much nicer and loads of gorgeous fish, under our dingy was a huge Sting Ray swimming along.  Sadly we didn’t see a single turtle this time.

After a couple of days of bliss we sailed to Saline Bay on Mayreau Island.  We walked across the island to Salt Whistle Bay for lunch.  The walk took about an hour through bush and along beaches. We saw a very pretty lizard on the path (pictured below).  When we got to Salt Whistle Bay Jonathan and Donald had a much needed beer and I had a nice cold finer ale.  We stayed for lunch and hat fish and chips, the fish was a whole Red snapper each.  It was very good.  We decided to taxi back as far as the village and then walk down the hill to Saline Bay.
