We are underway at 6p.m. and our sat navigation works!

What I forgot to mention that whilst we were on Bruny Island with David we had some lovely feasts eating oysters and mussels we had harvest ourselves. The oysters are huge and delicious. We soaked both in water with a few oats so that they cleaned themselves of sand and grit first. Some of the oysters I cooked in a tempura batter, one of the recipes had this along with serving them on a green apple sauce, sounded delicious but sadly did not have any apples on me at the time.

We also spent a great day at the MOMA a private art gallery containing the largest collection of private art in Australia. It is set in the most amazing gallery all specifically designed for this, David Walsh who owns and built it also owns a vineyard and brewery all on the same land. Half way through looking at art we stopped for some wine tasting and lunch before continuing again. It is well worth visiting Tasmania just for this, old and new mixed together in a very tasteful and artistic way. Of course Tasmania is famous for its food, wind and scenary with great walks. When we return again I hope we have more time here, with better weather and will rent a car to explore the west side of the island and drive up into the mountains. It would also be good to sail down to the wilderness area to explore it if the weather allows. It is only accessible on foot or by sea.

Tonight we are going to anchor in a sheltered bay near the entrance to Hobart and set sail up the coast tomorrow.
