Hi all, we are about 60 miles west of the westernmost of the Cape Verde Islands. I understand that a lot of Arcers have put in there to refuel. These are members of the South heading group. Our passage so far has been characterized by little or no wind , and for boats with big Diesel tanks (not us!), a lot of motoring. We continue heading South in search of the mythical Trade winds.
Other boats headed West and found much more wind but I am confident that you can guess which facial feature it was blowing onto! We briefly joined that group at one time, but now we are back with the South group.
Snow and wintry conditions?? You don't know how lucky you are. Will try to update more regularly in case anybody is reading this...
