We stick our heads out to find that after the wind has changed our neighbour is now just 1 metre away from our stern, so we up anchor and off early.

We are not quite sure where we are heading. Possibly setting off to the mainland. All depends on the weather. There is news of a gale blowing off Menorca which is only 25 miles or so away from Menorca, so we have to keep our eye on that.

After a while we decide on Bonaire on the North Eastern corner of Majorca. J and I have never been. S and L did their training there and have said that it is lovely.

Bonaire is 45 miles away, so we have quite a long way to go. The sea state is disturbed but we have some good sailing along the way.

We arrive at 7:45 just before dark, and we are put on the reception quay, which is fine. We are directly opposite another HR53, which I knew was owned by the chap who owns the marina. We had exchanged details about it when we were looking. He obviously had not sold it.

Nice meal at the restaurant on the marina, entertained by the tame budgy that flew onto the owner's shoulder when it was released from its cage.
