9 and 10 September 2013

Decided to stay, and had a very enjoyable couple of days. We had looked forward to having a bit more time to stay and enjoy places, and at last felt we had caught up with ourselves after the delays at Ipswich.

We met up with F and P on the 9th, kayaking in and out. The Eagle proving its worth once again in places where it would have been difficult to leave the dinghy.

On the 10th we went for our first walk in many weeks, actually leaving the sea behind and climbing through the forested crags between Sant Elm and Andratx, past very rustic goat pens and ancient stone ground works of long forgotten small holdings and roadways.

That night, J and L were up in a thunderstorm rescuing clothing and shoes from the rain and putting the electronics in the biscuit tin just in case. Not sure why I didnt hear it.
