Last day in Mon ( hopefully!)

Mon storm bound. After 7 days of being stuck in this nice marina we are planning to leave this afternoon for the Keil Canal.
We have had a good time here with a day visit to Copenhagen and this time we did see the Little Mermaid. It was a very wet day but never the less it was good. Then back to Mon and our final crew dinner with some of the crews driving down for it. It was damned annoying that they were home and we still have nearly 1000nm to go. Joel the ARC Leader did an exellent job mentioning all the boats in the rally and giving out prizes to some. We received a prize of a can of beer to help us celebrate the "first of the day". There were a few crews who were absent and were missed but they had decided to winter in Kalmar and sail the Baltic next year. Also others were missed like Love (the Swedish/Swiss Viking) who was on "Working on a Dream" .
Last night we were inivited over to "Jennie B" for a curry night, along with 17 others, it was very cosy with all of us parked on a 38 footer. A very good night was had.
