Our fourth crew member Barbara joins the boat at Cartegena. We are moored between the P&O cruise ship Azura, and the new waterfront centre. We exchange texts. We spot her, just as she describes, carrying her 'way too big Purple bag'.

We are delighted to have Barbara on board, she has bags of cruising and top level competitve sailing experience and clicks in to our 'team' almost instantly. Now we are now a team of four and everything is a tad easier and quicker, and indeed more fun.

Tim, Mike L and Barbara topped up our fresh provsions with local shopping at Lidl and we quickly set off again to take advantage of the favourable Easterly wind.

We had an exciting evening sail, wind picking up to occasional gusts of 32kts - with two reefs we again hit over 10 knots. The wind slowly decreased overnight and we made good progress.
