We left Mindelo at 1pm local time, after a fairly hectic morning, gathering washing and de-spidering fruit and veg. Four hours later we are motoring towards the Caribbean. There is hardly a breath of wind; not enough to fill the sails. Luckily, everybody else seems to be motoring as well so no point becoming despondent just yet.   We have already had a pod of 40 or 50 dolphins playing around our bow, stern and between our hulls. These dolphins are considerably bigger and darker than the ones we are used to in the Med, but just as playful.

We had a great time in the Cape Verde islands and were able to provision well. The fishing line is out and all is well on board.
