Another yacht, where the feck did he come from and only 2 miles away, who is she?
               " Akarana "  G.B.R. a swan 46  how did he getthere!
The owner radio'd  later and it turned out he motored most of the night, phew ! what a relief
Akarana is, or was leading his class E

10.00 The skipper and Dermot spent an hour cleaning the galley floor and all around that area, including cleaning the fridge.
We were sorry to hear our friend's  " the Luptons " from Galway had suffered a broken boom on their yacht  " BEOGA "

12.00  we adjusted our clocks by one hour, our position then:-
                                                                                             17 . 18 N.          1922 n miles travelled
                                                                                              46.  26 W          856 n miles to the finish
16.00 hrs Still sailing along in thelight breeze and getting lighter
The swan was pulling away from us,
Some of the crew looked positivly sun burnt

16.45  Wind had vanished , so we started up the engine and motored, This will incur penelties, but hopefully we wont have to motor for long before we get wind again, and maintain our good overall position.

22,50hrs , Still no improvement in the wind dept. so still motering, along with others.

Till tomorrow
