It is now Monday. We had planned to sail to Basseterre, the capital of St Kitts today, to check out with Customs etc tomorrow and then leave early on Tuesday. However, when we arrived, the anchorage was so rolly that we have come here, just around the corner, to South Frigate Bay instead. We will try again tomorrow when the wind is forecast to have backed to a North easterly. Will we have to anchor long enough to clear customs but if it is still rough, we may well come back here and then set off from here Wednesday morning. Our plan at the moment is to sail to St Martin next. It looks like we will have to miss out St Barts as the wind and swell direction mean that we would be bashing head on into wind and waves - not pleasant !
